Blanford Parker received his B.A. from Cornell College, studied Classics and English at University of Iowa, and received an M.A. and Ph.D. in English from Harvard University. He taught graduate and undergraduate students for thirty-two years at Harvard, NYU, CUNY Graduate Center, Claremont Graduate School, and Ave Maria University.
